10−12 meat chops or
chicken drumsticks
2,,piece raw papaya
1/2 tsp. saffron
1 piece ginger
2 tsp.curry powder
salt
4 ripe chillies,orless.
afew sliced onions
3 cloves garlic
2ripe tomatoes
1 c.curd
1/2tsp.cummin seed
Grind to a paste the red chillies,papaya,
saffron and ginger.cut and trim the chops.Mix in theground masala,curry powder and
salt and leave aside for 2hours.fry onion
and garlic in a little oil.Add the sliced tomatoes and the chops.Mix and add 1to11/2cups water.Taste for seasoning.Cover and
let the meat cook on a low flame.Garnish
and serve on rice.

PICKLE RELISH
8-10 lerge cucumbers. Sliced and layered in salt, soak overnight. Drain
Off the liquid.
Put cucumbers in the blender or food grinder, also add 1 1/2cup chopped
Onions and 2 green peppers. After the ingredients are blended together,
In each 6 cups add:
2 1/2cups vinegar
3-3 1/2cups sugar
2 tsp.mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
1tsp. turmeric
1/2-1 tsp. cloves
1/2-1 tsp ginger
1/4-1/2 tsp.nutmeg
1/4-1/2 tsp.dry mustard
Actually, all spices can be changed as per own taste.
Cook together and put in hot jars.
SOUR CREAMPICKLES
Slice one large cucumber.
Sprinkle with salt, let stand
2 tbsp. chopped chives
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
30 minutes. Drain. Chill at least one hour.
Add; 1 cup yogurt
3 tbsp. vinegar
Mix and pour over cucumbers.
